Throughout her time running her own pub, Sheila observed the challenges faced by many small and independent businesses. One of the most significant challenges was the often unfair pricing practices of suppliers. This issue deeply resonated with her, motivating her to take action.
In 2020, fueled by her passion for fairness & transparent pricing plus her desire to support her fellow small business owners, Sheila founded “FairPlay.” This innovative buying group was established with a singular mission: to ensure that all hospitality businesses, regardless of their size, could access fair pricing from suppliers. Her vision was to create a level playing field, where every business had the opportunity to thrive without the burden of exorbitant costs.
